the premise

Having limited time to work on these, much like the participants in developing their concepts, I decided on the following approach: a 30 minutes conversation with each group and 2 1/2 hours of focused brainstorming and prototyping towards each logo.

On the one hand, it required active listening, finding the right questions to ask and learning how to guide potential clients that weren’t quite sure of what they needed/wanted yet.

On the other, it required learning how to prototype and deliver the best work possible while working under a tight deadline.

The challenges this posed and the learnings that came from it, have been priceless. However, seeing the participants’ positive reactions to having their projects visually represented in a way that felt right to them, is probably the reason why this has been one of my most favorite projects so far.
